Robert earned both BA
and MBA degrees from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S C. In 1985, while a senior at Winthrop, he met a freshman named Kim Bradley. The two dated for two years before marrying in 1987.
They have five children:
Rob (32), who is a captain with the
U. S. Army Corps of Engineers
in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and married to Bridget;
Cooper (28) is a mechanical engineer with Apollo Valves in Pageland, South Carolina;
Walton (22) is a senior at Wofford College;
and twins Johnson and Walker (21) are juniors at
Wofford College and Winthrop University, respectively.
Robert Morrison Jolly, Jr. was born on February 22, 1964,
the oldest child of an elementary school teacher mother
and a college professor father.
Robert and his two younger brothers grew up in the mountains of East Tennessee,
attending a small-town Methodist Church with their parents.

Before seminary, Robert was in the banking industry
for more than 20 years.
He received his Master of Divinity from
Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina,
and served his ministerial internship at
Westminster Presbyterian Church, PCA,
under the supervision of Reverend Dr. Shelton P. Sanford.
In 2011, Robert accepted the position of pastor at
Sardinia Presbyterian Church, PCA,
where he served for eight years.
We are grateful that God called Robert to serve Him
at Kingstree Presbyterian Church in June 2019.
Robert is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys college sports and
long prayer walks with
Boone and Baylor,
his two four-legged children.
